Success Gate C&S Christ's Church International Headquarters Parish (Ibode Aseyori) was founded on the 11th of November, 1984. Its maiden service was attended by twenty nine (29) people, the Primate inclusive. The service took place in the living room of Michael Aloba (a.k.a Keremuye).
The Church later moved to its present site and was constructed under the supervision of his grace, the Primate.
The headquarters parish has not been without its ups and downs. The new Church had been threatened right from its establishment. The Church was taken to court with the intention of some church urchins led by Michael Aloba to extinguish the church. An injunction was given on the 26th of July, 1986 barring all members from entering the Church Premises. The church appealed the ruling in Benin, after 6 months of continuous legal battles, the court ruled in favour of the Church, with substantial cost against its adversaries on the 4th of March, 1987.
It was from the headquarters parish that all parishes of Success Gate emerged. Many ministers of God have served at various times as pastors and prophet/prophetess of headquarters. Some of those who served are; His Grace, Primate Dr. Ade Ademisokun Turton, Special Apos/Pst Femi Fayanju, Pro. Sunday Agunbiade(a,ka. Ajaburamuramu), Sp. Apostle Bode Ogunlola, Sp. Apos/Pro. The Parish was founded in 1989 by the Primate (Dr.) Ade Ademisokun Turton. Late Snr, Apos.(Chief) E.F.S Ogunlola was the pioneer Pastor and also a foundation member of Success Gate Mission Headquarters. He secured a job with Ondo State Afforestation Project situated at Lisagbede-Imorun. His grace the Primate visited Pastor E.F.S Ogunlola in his station (Gmelina Camp), and an open revival was held at Gmelina Camp where the evil spirit of marine was confessed by three ladies. On the following Sunday, 12 people attended the service and shortly, Prophetess Bolatitio Olukinni, now Deputy Chief Prophetess was posted as a visiting prophetess. Ibode Aseyori Square, Afforestation Road, Mokore Odigbo LGA.
The then Project Manager of Ondo State Afforestation was not comfortable with the rapid growth of the church and forcefully ejected the duo of Snr. Ap. E.F.S Ogunlola and Rabbi Ajibade from their official quarters which was being used for church services. The Church was relocated to the sitting room of a member, Adewole Olajoye at a distance of about 10km and the church refused to die despite the frustration.
The Primate acquired a parcel of ladirectly opposite Adewole Olajoye's house at Mokore and the Church building project started immediately. The Church had been expanded twice since then and the Success Gate Annual Convention was hosted by this Parish in 1998, the first to be held outside the headquarters.
In 1994, an attempt was made by the leadership of the parish to split the church under the guise of distance from Gmelina Camp. While the splinter parish died, the main parish remains alive and waxed stronger. In 1990, Snr. Apos.Ogunlola acquired the traditional Chieftaincy title of (Elenutan of Ikole-Ekiti) his home town and this situation brought Prophet Kehinde Agbomabiwon to the parish as a minister-in-charge.
In 1992 Agbomabiwon was relieved and Iranse Dupe Awolowo replaced him as prophetess in charge. In 1994 Iranse Dupe Awolowo was relieved of her duty and Iranse Kayode Ige now Sp. Apos and Most Snr. The parish started in 1985 when the Primate traveled on a tour to Europe and opened a fellowship in Paris on 18th January 1986 and that of London on 13th February 1986 at the residence of Leader & Mrs Makanjuola at 12 Dalston Lane, London SE. Later the need to have an experienced and well tutored Minister arose because the church started quickly in leaps and bounds. Therefore Prophet Tokunbo Ojo was taken to London and was introduced to the then devoted members which included the Ondo State Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Bukola Tofowomo who at that time was a law student at Burkingham University.
Prophet Tokunbo Ojo and Leader Makanjuola were to lead the church as Prophet and Pastor respectively but both were always at each other’s throat and the flying church started diminishing and nose-diving.
Leader & Mrs Makanjuola used the advantage of his house to plot the extinction of the church, the church then moved to Mr. Omojudi 's house under the leadership of Prophet Tokunbo Ojo who unfortunately started to keep bad company and led himself astray on cheap mundane lust.
Through divine help and the efforts of some members like Mother in Isreal Oluwaseun Olufeko (Nee Fayanju), Prophetess Lizzy Akinleye etc the Parish survived and we now have three separate Fellowship Centres in the U.K. The First Lady- Rev'd Mother Adelanke Ade-Turton, Rev’d Mother Odunola Fayanju and Apostle Abiodun Babarinde have worked at different times in the Parish until July 2013 when Rev’d Mother Pro. Bolatito Olukinni was formally posted to the Parish as Prophetess-in-charge.
